Kaye on The Wisconsin Vegetable Gardener Podcast

Recently, I was interviewed for Joey and Holly Baird’s The Wisconsin Vegetable Gardener podcast. Podcasts are the latest venture into garden programming for Joey and Holly, who, while each working at full-time jobs, grow a garden and create high quality garden videos. I hope you will check out this, their second show, where I talk about how I got started with growing food and creating Late Bloomer; what’s happening in Los Angeles with parkway food gardens; Ron Finley, L.A.’s urban guerrilla gardener; and the Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, California, as well as the learning experience of growing food, which is its own reward for the effort. They also cover the topics of raised bed gardening and Jerusalem Artichokes, or sunchokes.
