Please watch and share Season 2, Episode 1 of “Late Bloomer,” “Planting the Winter Garden.” Featuring the original guitar composition of “Late Bloomer’s” new composer, guitar man Jon Pileggi. I’m very excited to add Jon to our lean and creative Late Bloomer team!

I’ve been busy planting a garden, making Late Bloomer episodes, creating an e-book “The Late Bloomer Show’s 10 Steps for a Great, First Garden,” redoing my website, and dealing with my sprained ankle and all the other stuff of life. Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately, but I will get back to it very soon! Are you able to grow food in the winter? Thanks for stopping by! – Kaye

P.S. Did you watch the Super Bowl? My American Airlines commercial ran during the game. I play a waitress. I’d love to know if you see it. Thanks!

  1. Your second season–of both the garden and the blog–is off to a great start. I’m looking forward to seeing more.

I’m sorry I missed your Super Bowl ad live but I caught it on YouTube. Very nice! By the way, Nielsen estimates that 108 million people watched the show.

    • Yes, the exposure was NICE, but agent just informed me I only get the regular residual payment…. Thanks for the LB support! I’m trying to keep run times down to 5 minutes this season, so I’ll be doing the winter garden in parts. Thanks for watching!!

Kaye!! Season two already I simply can’t believe it! Where does the time go? I look forward to sharing another growing season and blogging season with you.

    • Thanks, Anna! Yeah, I know, right? Well, since gardening is year-round here, I made an arbitrary decision to end on 20 at the end of the summer garden, with the three punch, tomatoes, corn and watermelon to finish it off. The winter garden will be in parts, trying to keep run times down to 5 minutes, which is better for everybody, viewers and the LB team, who are still working for very little money for me cause they love it and believe in its success this year! 🙂 – Kaye

    Hey Kay,
I didn’t see the commercial the night of the game, but I went on YouTube and found you. You make a cute waitress. I’m enjoying your Late Bloomer entries. Still cold here in Tennessee. Mary Ellen Luckey Danner

While it’s snowing here in Jersey, it’s fun to fantasize about gardening. I really may try a raised bed veggie garden, inspired by you. Can you post a recipe for your green drink?
