Monarch Butterflies only lay eggs on milkweed, and the Western Monarch is particularly at risk due to a parasite called O.C., and with loss of habitat. Grow milkweed and help support these dynamic, beautiful creatures. And the best news? The larva, or caterpillars, won’t bother your vegetables! They only eat milkweed, which you will grow especially for them! 🙂

Fine way of describing, and nice paragraph to get data regarding my presentation focus, which i am going to
    deliver in college.

    • If you are in college, you might want to read Barbara Kingsolver’s book, “Flight Behavior” about the Monarchs leaving their Mexican over-wintering spot due to climate change. Very informative and I think would be very interesting for a college student. Good luck, and thanks for checking into “Late Bloomer!” Grow milkweed, if you can. These beautiful creatures are seriously imperiled. – Kaye
