Late Bloomer – Arts & Ag – Part 2 – Episode 30 covers Kaye’s visit to Hickman County, Tennessee, over Memorial Day weekend. From locally grown foods and live music to handmade goods, the Arts & Ag Tour had it all! Local photographer Cindy Sarlo captured all 25 exhibitors over Friday and Saturday. Kaye gets a taste of candied lavender.

Next up, Duck River Rose Garden, where Larry Baird and his wife, Connie, are growing award-winning roses. Ray LeMay plays banjo and sings.

Then, Kaye visits Totty’s Bend Farm where there were three exhibitors, Vanessa Davis, with the soaps and lotions she makes from her goats’ milk and Ashley Whitaker from Whit’s End Farm with her felted woolen creations.

Last up, Kaye gets a lesson from Pam and Chelsea Hethcote from Possum Hollow Dairy Goat Farm how to milk their goat, Jasmine. Can you tell Kaye needs a little practice?
