Have you tried pineapple guava? They have a distinctive taste. Also, please check out my recent blog post where I made a fruit salad with the blossoms! They are in bloom now and I should have 200 guavas!

Interesting you posted this today…I had just contacted a local bee keeper to see if I could purchase some raw honey from her instead of Trader Joes Glad to do a tiny part.

If you are in college, you might want to read Barbara Kingsolver’s book, “Flight Behavior” about the Monarchs leaving their Mexican over-wintering spot due to climate change. Very informative and I think would be very interesting for a college student. Good luck, and thanks for checking into “Late Bloomer!” Grow milkweed, if you can. Thanks for watching, Christopher! I’m having dinner tomorrow night with Aussies recently relocated to my neighborhood! I also found a method online that I am trying today as since I’m still hand-watering, I get the leaves wet. The jury is still out whether it will work with my clay soil.
